Henry King - Bonjour Tout Le Monde!

Beaucaire for me was always going to be great. I had been to Paris in the past but had not been outside of it. When we got into the Avignon station and saw the blistering sun and waves of heat in the air, that it would be special. Since then we have seen the pont du gard, tarascon castle, Arles township, the old town of Avignon, the list goes on. We have done this while having afternoons back at the hotel seeing who can do the best flip belly flop and dive in the swimming pool. Jamie keay and will mckenzie are tied for the best belly flop while mr Buckingham continues to amaze all with his splashless dives. The breakfasts and dinners have been really good, I even enjoyed the salmon which I usually detest. For lunches we have gone to a hypermarket (yes a hypermarket I kid you not) which is like a warehouse and a supermarket combined. It is gigantic and nic Poulsen has continued his Pringles and coke tradition, at one stage reaching 8 tubes of Pringles. All in all I reckon beaucaire and the south of France as a whole are absolutely awesome, the views are breathtaking and we have had time to relax. I'm looking forward to our last full day tomorrow then off to Paris, which I can't wait to see, and finally break the bank shopping (sorry mum)
Henry
