Robbie Speakman -- Whilst in Greece

Athens has been truly incredible, for each of the past three days everyone has been returning to the hotel, stripping off their shoes and collapsing into their beds with absolute exhaustion. However each morning, although a little bit tired, there is no shortage of excitement and energy to explore the marvels that the incredible city offers that will remain in out memories forever.
To even try and attempt to narrow the great feats of past genii into a list of favourites, even at these very early stages of the tour is borderline impossible. Nevertheless to me, the Parthenon and the twilight view of Athens at the top of Mt. JLekkevitetoss (silent J) were absolute standouts. The size of the Parthenon was simply indescribable and I am still failing to come to grips as to how it was constructed. With the hefty stone and life-like carvings, modern artists in my eyes, are the equivalent of the Wallabies in World Rugby. While considering that present day ‘artists’ can sell a messy canvas for millions of dollars, your respect for life’s previous masterminds just grows and grows.
Conversely the streets of Athens are not all that relaxing. Although some people may enjoy the company of endless Moroccans, deceiving girls offering tissues are like 2/10 fun. Although walking past restaurants in high demand and watching Finn Lloyd’s various purchases are like 9/10 fun so all is good.
In Summary, here is an acrostic poem of Athens/Greece
   G ypsies
   R abies
   E veryone enjoyed themselves
   E rechtheon
   C orrupt
E ven had diversity (I may be wrong here but I believe diversity was an old wooden ship)
It’s sad to be leaving Greece so soon, but after hearing about the great wonders of Italy, it’s hard not to feel such a strong sense of anticipation. 9/10 keen for a pizza, and this ferry/cruise is amazing. They even have a ball pit like at lollipops.
The start has been amazing, all within the first week. Both Mr. B’s and Wilson J have been awesome, very excited for the next 3 and a half weeks to come.
